Wildcats Welcome Dads and Daughters to Annual Basketball Camp
The Joe Craft Center was packed with Wildcat dads and daughters on Sunday afternoon for the annual father-daughter basketball camp. The event, hosted by Kentucky basketball’s head coach Mark Pope and his daughter, was a huge success, with attendees participating in dribbling drills, watching film, and shooting practice.

“We love the game of basketball and I love teaching her new things and just the experience altogether,” said Brandon Graves, a participating dad. His daughter, Kate Adkins, echoed the sentiment, saying, “There was so much fun things that we got to do, and I just loved all the time we got to spend with our dad.”
The camp was an ideal Father’s Day activity for many of the dads in attendance. “It’s just a great chance for me to bring my daughters along, spend time with the girls I love, and the things that are most important to me, and mix them with my favorite hobby, which is Kentucky basketball,” said Brian Adkins, Kate’s dad.
