The USA Basketball Men’s National Team is gearing up for the Paris 2024 Olympics, and they’re doing it in style. With a star-studded roster featuring LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry, among others, Team USA is looking to bring home the gold.

Before they head to the City of Light, however, they’re taking on some of their biggest Olympic rivals in a series of exhibition games. Their third exhibition game will be against Serbia in Abu Dhabi, and it’s shaping up to be a real showdown.

Serbia is no stranger to the Olympic stage, and they’re bringing their own slate of NBA stars to the table, including Nikola Jokic, Vasilije Micic, and Bogdan Bogdanovic. The team is looking to rebound from a loss to Australia, and they’re going to need all the firepower they can get to take down Team USA.

“It’s Game 3 of the USA Basketball Showcase, and we’re inching closer to Opening Day of the Paris Olympics,” said Steve Kerr, Team USA’s coach. “Some of the biggest stars of the basketball world will be on display today from Abu Dhabi.

The matchup is a preview of each team’s opening game of the group stages at the end of the month, and it’s set to be a battle for the ages.

LeBron James is looking for his fourth Olympic gold

LeBron James is making his fourth Olympic appearance, and he’s looking to bring home his fourth gold medal. He’s joined by fellow Olympic veterans Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Bam Adebayo, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, and Anthony Davis, all of whom are back for their second Olympic appearance.

Steph Curry, meanwhile, is making his Olympic debut, and he’s looking to make a big impact.

“I want to see Steph Curry in this game,” said an analyst. “He’s playing for his coach, Steve Kerr, and he had 12 points in the first game against Canada, but hit just 1/6 field goals last game and finished with 6 points.”

The game is set to tip off at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 17, and it will be broadcast on FS1. You can also stream it on the Fox Sports App, Fubo, DirecTV, Sling, and Hulu with Live TV.
