The Arizona State Sun Devils basketball team has received some disappointing news, as three-star guard Ketraleus “Bo” Aldridge has requested to be released from his Letter of Intent. This development comes shortly after the team gained a significant boost with the commitment of five-star recruit and guard Joson Sanon.

Aldridge, a senior combo guard standing at 6-foot-4, had an impressive season with the Diamond Doves, a team in the Overtime Elite League, averaging 16.8 points per game. He originally committed to ASU and signed the letter in November. However, with the recent shift of Joson Sanon from Arizona to Arizona State, the team’s backcourt has become increasingly competitive.
“The news comes shortly after five-star recruit and guard Joson Sanon decommited from Arizona to Arizona State on May 29, adding another talented player to Bobby Hurley’s backcourt.”
This change in circumstances may have influenced Aldridge’s decision to reevaluate his commitment. The Sun Devils also have a commitment from five-star center Jayden Quaintance, who is ranked as the ninth-best prospect in the country by 247 Sports.
