A Wandering Garden of Delights

The promenade’s latest attraction is a Wandelgarten, or wandering garden, where locals can come together to share plants, tend to a community green space, and enjoy the company of friends and neighbors. This collaborative effort is brought to you by the city of Bamberg and the local non-profit organization, machbar bamberg e.V. The garden features a variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables, as well as a sandbox, benches, and a barefoot path for kids to explore.

Basketball Frenzy at the Freak City Station

Get ready to dribble, pass, and shoot your way to fun at the Freak City Basketball Station! This free event, open to kids and youth of all ages and skill levels, will take place on Thursday, August 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Join the Freak City e.V. youth trainers for an afternoon of ball-handling, teamwork, and excitement.

Water You Waiting For?

Beat the heat with a visit to the Wasserspielmobil, a water play area designed for kids of all ages. This interactive splash pad is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm and features a variety of water features, including sprayers, geysers, and a giant bucket that dumps water on hot summer days.
