A Season to Remember
In his debut season as head coach of the Colonels, Saddler led his squad to a remarkable 20-14 overall record and a third-place finish in the Southland Conference. Despite losing over 80 percent of its point production from the previous season, the Colonels exceeded their sixth-place projection and reached the Southland Conference Tournament title game for just the fourth time in school history. The 20-win campaign was also just the eighth for the program in team history.
Tevon Saddler, a rising star in the world of college basketball coaching.
Saddler’s achievements extend beyond team milestones, as he set marks for a first-year head coach. His 20 overall wins and 13 Southland victories were the most ever by a rookie head coach at Nicholls.
The Colonels celebrate a hard-fought victory.
As Saddler takes the stage at the TopConnect Basketball Symposium, he will undoubtedly share valuable insights and lessons learned from his inaugural season at the helm of the Colonels.
