New Assistant Coach Aleah Goodman

“We are thrilled to welcome Aleah to the University of Washington,” said Head Coach Tina Langley. “As a program, we want to surround ourselves with mission-minded and values-based leaders, and Aleah has demonstrated those characteristics consistently throughout her impressive career.”

Goodman’s impressive resume includes helping lead Oregon State to the Elite Eight in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, their first Elite Eight appearance since 2018 when she played for the Beavers. As an assistant coach on staff, she saw the team finish last season ranked No. 8 in the AP poll with a 27-8 overall record.

“I am excited to join Coach Langley and the University of Washington Women’s Basketball program,” Goodman said. “Coach Langley is an outstanding mentor, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from her as I continue my career.”

Prior to joining Oregon State, Goodman served as the Director of Recruiting and Player Development at Duke, where she worked closely with both current and potential student-athletes. On the court, Goodman was responsible for scouting opponents and personnel, helping the Blue Devils to a 26-7 overall mark and a second-place regular season finish within the ACC.
