The 2024-25 season is shaping up to be an exciting one for Old Dominion University’s women’s basketball team. With a new recruiting class of 10 talented players, the Monarchs are looking to take their game to the next level.

Head coach DeLisha Milton-Jones is thrilled with the new additions to the team, saying, “The 2024-25 ODU women’s basketball signing class will bring forth a new level of excitement for our fans because the caliber of players will allow everyone to continue to ride the wave of excitement behind the current state of women’s basketball.”
The new recruits include five transfers from NCAA Division I programs and two JUCO All-Americans, with three players combining to win four Texas state championships. This level of talent and experience is sure to bring a new level of energy to the team.

The Monarchs have added some serious firepower to their lineup, with players like Camryn Hill, who led her previous team in scoring, three-pointers, free throws made, and blocks. Jadyn Atchison brings her experience from the University of Colorado, while Simaru Fields earned NJCAA Third Team All-American honors at Gulf Coast CC.
Other notable recruits include Sarai Estupiñán, who comes from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Nisaa Muhammad, who helped her high school team capture back-to-back Texas 6A state championships.
