Mark Adams Reunites with Chris Beard at Ole Miss
Mark Adams is taking his talents to Ole Miss, reuniting with former colleague Chris Beard. The two coached together at Texas Tech during the Red Raiders’ national title appearance in 2019.
Adams took over as head coach of the Red Raiders in 2021 after Beard left for the University of Texas. He led the team to two NCAA Tournament appearances before resigning in 2023.
Now, Adams joins a star-studded staff at Ole Miss, which includes five of Beard’s former assistants from his time at Texas Tech. The team finished last season with a 20-12 record and a 7-11 conference record in the SEC.
