Florida’s Leilani Correa has made the move to Mexico, signing with the Panteras de Aguascalientes in the Latin Basketball League. This comes after being drafted by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft, but just missing out on a spot on the official 12-player roster.
Correa closed out her senior year at Florida with an impressive average of 17 points per game and a 44% field goal percentage. She also reached an elite collegiate milestone, notching over 2,000 career points. The SEC Sixth Woman of the Year will now don the Black and Gold of the Panteras de Aguascalientes, a team known for their competitive and aggressive style of play.
