According to Coach Vogel, Parks is a valuable asset to the team. “We’re super excited to add a player of Kaz’ talent this late in the recruiting process. Kaz adds a lot of experience at the guard spot for us. She can play both point guard and wing spots. Kaz is a great 3-point shooter that scored close to double digits in both her previous college basketball seasons. Kaz is also a Dean’s List student that fits our culture perfectly.”
Parks’ impressive stats from her previous college seasons speak for themselves. As a sophomore, she averaged 7.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 23 games, including 21 starts. In her freshman year, she scored an average of 9.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 22 games, all starts. Her ability to score double digits in ten games, including 21 points twice, is a testament to her skill and dedication.
