Indiana State Women’s Basketball Team Sees Coaching Change
The Indiana State women’s basketball team is undergoing a significant change in leadership. Interim Director of Athletics Angie Lansing announced that head coach Chad Killinger will be stepping down from his role, effective immediately.
Killinger’s tenure with the Sycamores spanned three seasons, during which the team accumulated a 33-60 record. Despite the challenges on the court, the team remained active in the community under his leadership.

Lansing expressed gratitude to Killinger for his contributions to Sycamore Athletics and wished him and his family well in their future endeavors.
The search for a new head coach is already underway, with Deidra Johnson serving as the interim head coach in the meantime.

The women’s basketball team will continue to be active in the community, building on the foundation established under Killinger’s leadership.
