Hoosiers Land Coveted 2025 Shooting Guard Davis Fogle
The Indiana University basketball program has made a significant move in the recruitment of top-75 rising senior shooting guard Davis Fogle, offering him a spot on the team. This development comes on the heels of a strong performance by Fogle at the NBPA Top-100 Camp in Florida, where the full IU staff was in attendance.
Fogle showcases his skills at the NBPA Top-100 Camp
Fogle, a 4-star recruit and the No. 17 shooting guard in the class according to the On3 Industry Average, has been making waves with his impressive stats. In his junior season at Anacortes H.S. in Anacortes, Wash., he averaged 31.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game. His sophomore season saw him average 24.6 points per game.
The 6-foot-6 Fogle is set to transfer to national prep powerhouse AZ Compass Prep for his senior high school season. He plays for Seattle Select on the UAA Circuit for spring and summer.
Fogle’s Recruitment Heats Up
Fogle has already taken an official visit to Nebraska and is scheduled to visit Gonzaga later this month. Creighton and Kansas are also key players in his recruitment, with offers coming in over the last couple of months.
A standout player in her own right, Amy Fogle’s jersey number 34 was retired by Southern Illinois University in 2020
Indiana is not a new player in this recruitment, having been involved for over a year. Fogle has expressed his admiration for the Hoosiers, stating that they are one of his dream schools, along with Duke. His mom, Amy, is from the Midwest and a former standout player at Southern Illinois University, which adds an interesting layer to his connection with the Hoosiers.
As Fogle navigates his recruitment, it will be interesting to see how Indiana fits into his plans. One thing is certain – the Hoosiers are serious about landing this talented shooting guard.
