Hoops Hub: Recruiting Roundup and More
The world of college basketball is heating up, and we’ve got the latest scoop on recruiting and more. From top prospects to NBA-bound stars, we’re covering it all in this edition of Hoops Hub.
Recruiting Roundup
July is typically a month when rising high school seniors begin to narrow their recruitments, and we’re seeing that with some of IU basketball’s main targets. Braylon Mullins, Jalen Haralson, Trent Sisley, Malachi Moreno, and Bryson Tiller are all top contenders for the Hoosiers, with all but Tiller including Indiana in their top or final schools recently. And all of them have taken or will take an official visit to Bloomington.
Beyond those five, things get a bit murky with IU’s 2025 targets. Davis Fogle, a 4-star wing, announced a top three of Gonzaga, Kansas, and Creighton, and it seems likely he’ll end up in Spokane. Meleek Thomas, a top-10 prospect in the rising senior class, has said for months he plans to get back to Indiana for a senior year official visit, but it’s unclear where the Hoosiers stand in his recruitment.

UNC Basketball News
Meanwhile, UNC basketball is making waves with their own recruiting efforts. The Tar Heels are in the running for top prospect Jasper Johnson, who took an official visit to Alabama and an unofficial to UNC. Kentucky is also in the mix, but it seems like Alabama may be the team to beat.
