Gophers Basketball Adds Two Walk-Ons to 2024-25 Roster
The Minnesota Gophers have recently added two new players to their roster for the 2024-25 season. University of Minnesota-Duluth graduate transfer Lincoln Meister and St. Monica High School guard Max Sheridan have joined the team as walk-ons.
Lincoln Meister: A Productive Season at Minnesota-Duluth
Lincoln Meister, a 6-foot-9 forward, averaged 5.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game for the Bulldogs last season. He played in 33 games off the bench, making him a valuable addition to the Gophers roster. Meister is joining the Gophers for one final season of college basketball.
As a native of Rochester, Minnesota, Meister averaged 22.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game as a senior at Rochester John Marshall High School. His experience and skills will undoubtedly be an asset to the Gophers.
Max Sheridan: A New Face from California
Max Sheridan, a 6-foot-1 guard from California, has also joined the Gophers as a walk-on. He will have four seasons of college eligibility remaining after graduating high school in 2023. Sheridan initially joined the Gophers in April 2023 as a student manager but has now been promoted to a full member of the roster.
