James Madison Faces Tough Competition in Boardwalk Battle
The James Madison men’s basketball team has added a trio of games to its 2024-25 slate, as the Dukes will travel to Daytona Beach, Fla., on Nov. 21-23 to compete in the inaugural Boardwalk Battle. The tournament, which features eight mid-major teams from eight different conferences, promises to be a thrilling event that will test the mettle of the participating teams.

Each team in the Boardwalk Battle will play three games as part of the action, with the Dukes opening the tournament against UIC on Thursday, Nov. 21. With a strong mix of newcomers and transfer additions, JMU is looking to build on its program-record 32 wins last season.
UNC Basketball: Ven-Allen Lubin Set to Make an Impact
The UNC basketball team has been busy in the transfer portal, and one of its biggest additions is Vanderbilt transfer Ven-Allen Lubin. The 6'8" forward is a strong and skilled player who can play both the four and the five positions, making him a valuable asset for the Tar Heels.

The Atlantic Sun Conference has announced its 2024-25 men’s basketball schedule, which features an 18-game league slate starting on January 2, 2025. The University of North Alabama men’s team will begin its conference schedule at home against Bellarmine and EKU.
