Florida A&M Adds Four New Players to Roster
Florida A&M men’s basketball team has added four new players to their roster. Junior college transfers Jamine Charles, Lenard Taylor, Kaleb Washington, and Tyler Shirley will join the Rattlers this season. Charles, a 6'11 forward, averaged 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in two seasons at Blinn Junior College. Taylor, a 6'2 guard, averaged 12.4 points per game at Clarendon College. Washington, a 6'8 guard, averaged 11.2 points per game at Butler Community College. Shirley, a 6'8 forward, averaged 11.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game at Clayton State.
The Rattlers are looking to make a strong impact in the 2024-25 season.
Virginia Basketball Recruiting Update
Virginia men’s basketball is also making moves in the recruiting world. Four-star power forward Cam Ward will visit UVA unofficially this week. Ward, a 6'7 wing out of Largo High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is already having an incredible year. He led Largo to a state championship and became the school’s all-time leading scorer in the spring. Ward has drawn attention from countless major conference programs and coaches.
The Cavaliers are looking to make a strong recruiting class in 2025.
