BYU Basketball Lands International Prospect Khadim Mboup

BYU basketball fans have reason to celebrate as the team has reportedly signed another intriguing international prospect, Senegalese forward Khadim Mboup. According to sources, Mboup will be reclassifying to 2024 and enrolling this year, committing to Kevin Young’s program.
International Flair
Mboup hails from NBA Academy Africa in Senegal, where he has been training alongside 20 other professional prospects. Standing at 6-foot-9, the 18-year-old combo forward is expected to bring a unique skillset to the Cougars.

Scholarship Filled
With Mboup’s commitment, BYU has filled its 13th and final allotted scholarship. This marks the seventh new scholarship player brought in by Young since taking the helm of the program in April.
