Big 12 Unveils Men’s Basketball Schedule Matrix
The Big 12 Conference has announced its men’s basketball schedule matrix for the upcoming season, featuring a new-look 16-team conference format. The Horned Frogs will play 10 conference home games, with a total of 20 games on the schedule.
The Big 12 Conference is set for an exciting season
Every team will play each other at least once, either home or away, and five teams will be played twice, both home and away. The format is similar to last season, but with the added excitement of two more games.
The Horned Frogs will face off against BYU, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Utah at home only, while Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Houston, and Iowa State will be played on the road only. Baylor, UCF, Colorado, Texas Tech, and West Virginia will be played both home and away.
Opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results, and a poll of the coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitive balance.
A full Big 12 schedule will be released at a later date.

Last season, TCU tied its best finish and most wins ever in the Big 12, with a ninth-place finish and a 9-9 record. Head coach Jamie Dixon returns for his ninth season, leading a team that includes returning starter Ernest Udeh Jr.
