Big 12 Unveils 2024-25 Men’s Basketball Conference Schedule
The Big 12 Conference has announced its conference scheduling format for the 2024-25 men’s basketball season, marking a new era with 16 member institutions and a 20-game schedule.

The scheduling format was determined by a combination of geography, historical results, and a poll of the coaches to ensure a balanced schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness. While the full Big 12 schedule will be released at a later date, Iowa State’s conference opponents have been revealed.
Iowa State to Host Three Newcomers
The Cyclones will host three of the four newcomers to the league, including Arizona, Colorado, and Utah, at Hilton Coliseum. Meanwhile, they will only face Arizona State on the road. Iowa State will also face Arizona, UCF, Colorado, Kansas, and Kansas State in home-and-away matchups.

Cyclones’ Conference Schedule Breakdown
Iowa State will face Baylor, BYU, Cincinnati, TCU, and Utah only at Hilton Coliseum, while they will travel to Arizona State, Houston, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and West Virginia.
