The University of Cincinnati women’s basketball team has announced the signing of Daylee Dunn, a talented guard who will join the Bearcats for the 2024-25 season. Dunn brings a wealth of experience to the team, having previously played for Loyola Marymount and Fresno State.

“Daylee’s ability to make shots as well as defend will allow her to make an immediate impact on our team,” said head coach Katrina Merriweather. “Her commitment to the game made her a no-brainer for us as we look to take steps forward this season.”

During her time at Loyola Marymount, Dunn proved to be a threat from behind the arc, making 22 three-pointers at a 31.9 shooting percentage in the 2023-24 season. Her impressive skills were on full display in a win against Saint Mary’s, where she scored a season-high 15 points and went 5-of-8 from three-point range.

Prior to her stint at Loyola Marymount, Dunn played for Fresno State, where she appeared in 64 games over three seasons and helped the Bulldogs reach the 2021 WNIT. She also showcased her athletic prowess as a member of the Fresno State track and field team, scoring in the 400m hurdles at the 2022 Mountain West Championship.

A native of San Ramon, California, Dunn was a key player in leading her high school team to the California Division I Final Four at Salesian Prep High School.
